Drivers Ed (Ohio “Class D”)
Our Ohio-approved Class D driver training includes 24 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction with a licensed instructor.
Who this course is for
- First-time drivers under age 21 applying for an Ohio driver license (this includes teens and adults ages 18–20).
- Temporary residents applying for a limited-term (non-renewable, non-transferable) Ohio license.
Students must be at least 15.5 years old before enrolling.
Components of this course
- Classroom instruction (24 hours):
- In person at one of our locations
- In person through our High School Program (partner schools)
- Self-paced online classroom
- Virtual classroom (live / instructor-led)
- Behind-the-wheel instruction (8 hours):
- Behind-the-wheel training scheduled with our instructors
