Adult Abbreviated Program

In Ohio, individuals aged 21 years or older who fail their first attempt at the driving test must complete an abbreviated adult driver training course before they can retake the test. This includes:

  1. State approved course
    • 4 hours in person
      • OR
    • 4 hours online
  2. Driving
    • 4 hours with a licensed instructor with a licensed abbreviated adult driver training school
      • OR
    • 24 hours with a licensed driver that is 21 or older with a completed affidavit

After Enrolling

Online Class Only

  1. Send your enrollment contract to info@heightsdriving.com
  2. Must be paid in full
  3. You will receive a link to complete your online course
  4. Upon completion, send your classroom certificate to info@heightsdriving.com
  5. Call us at 440-449-3300

Behind the Wheel Only

  1. Send your classroom certificate to info@heightsdriving.com
  2. Must be paid in full
  3. Call 440-449-3300 — driving sessions are scheduled over the phone with office staff

Online Class + Behind the Wheel

  2. Must be paid in full
  3. You will receive a link to complete your online course
  4. Upon completion, call 440-449-3300 — office staff will verify your course completion and schedule your driving sessions over the phone
